Homeopathy is a gentle system of natural medicine that has been practiced for over 200 years and is based on treating the individual in order to stimulate the body's own healing process. Having experienced the benefits of Homeopathy with my own family, I have a particular interest in treating women during pregnancy, birth and beyond. Through stimulating a woman's vitality during pregnancy, homeopathy can help with the physical and emotional changes experienced by many women. Some remedies appear to help with possible problems during childbirth and can also speed up healing and support breast-feeding for mother and baby after the birth. In babies and children, Homeopathy is suitable for many complaints such as digestive and respiratory difficulties, sleep issues, anxieties, skin complaints, recurrent infections and behavioral problems. Homeopathy is suitable for all ages and conditions and can be used alongside conventional medication.

Relevant Qualifications and Experience/Training

I have three children, who were all born at home. When I was pregnant with my first child I became interested in a holistic and natural approach to supporting my children through their development and strengthening their immune systems. After seeing the benefits of Homeopathy for my own family, I completed a four year course at The School of Homeopathy in Devon. I am now fully qualified and have experience of treating patients from the very young to the very old with a range of physical and emotional conditions. I have a particular interest in treating women during pregnancy, recommending remedies to support the birth process and also providing support to mother, baby and the family after the baby is born. I am registered with the Society of Homeopaths and work in accordance with its Code of Ethics and Practice.
